💬 “Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, lost, or just not sure where to begin — therapy can offer a space to make sense of what you’re carrying.”

About me

Hi, I'm Ruby — a Hong Konger psychotherapist offering online therapy in the UK and aboard.

I support adults navigating anxiety, cultural identity, transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

I also work with those from East and Southeast Asian backgrounds, including Hong Kong migrants, who may be adjusting to life between cultures.

Client Testimonial

Working with Ruby has been life changing! Having intersecting identities - a cis lesbian, neurodivergent woman, from a working class first-generation Southeast Asian family, brought up in the UK - made previous attempts at therapy difficult as I was never able to truly feel understood or seen in my entirety.

However, through taking an intersectional approach, Ruby has empowered me to start healing and processing how my experiences and relationship to different parts of my identity, and my identity as a whole, have shaped my mental health.

A year on from starting therapy with her, not only have we built up a good trust and rapport that makes me look forward to coming to my sessions, I finally feel confident that therapy is for me. I am a much more self-aware and self-assured person that even my friends and family have noticed such a difference in me.

-R

Ruby was my therapist for nearly two years and the experience was life-changing. She was so calm and in sessions I felt supported and empowered. She encouraged me and she believed in me. She was often proud of my progress even before I recognised it myself.

Ruby helped me to challenge the way I think about myself and the world around me for the better. She helped me understand what happiness was and, more importantly, that I was worthy of it.

Ruby was always guided by my preferences. She ensured me that decisions remained entirely mine and never attempted to influence me.

I am deeply grateful for the impact Ruby has had on my wellbeing. Working with her has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life.
